We got the fever to race watching the races behind the old Giant store back in the mid 70’s and like many kids of our era we were inspired by the movie ”On Any Sunday” and Motocross riders like Roger Decoster and Bob Hannah.
Raced in one of the first BMX races in Wichita back in 1975 placing first place at his first race. Raced in some kind of competitive bike race ever year since.
Started racing in 1974, competed against Brian Pascal, it was the first race for both of us, kind of neat.
It is truly an honor to have been selected as one of five inductee's into the inaugural KANSAS BMX HALL OF FAME. Along with Ken Lee, Mike Clark, Brian Pascal and Mike Scanga. Ceremony to be held at Emery BMX Park,
Ken was on a National #1 Trophy Team in 2000, National #15 over all Cruiser in 2000, Nag #1 Cruiser in 2000, 17 Nag Plates, 2 ROC plates 1995 & 1996...
